Thank you for these insights. I’ve been a journalist or content marketer all of my adult life, but I’m just now actively working to become a full-time writer. While I’ve submitted a handful of pieces over the years, it feels very different now ... life and death and more vulnerable. Writing my Substack feels that way too.
