I think the way the author digresses and digresses within digressions (etc) is exactly how the monkey mind works. For some odd reason it reminded me of Diary Of A Nobody but it's so long since I read the latter I couldn't pin down why. Several more from that post made it into the to-read pile, which will overwhelm me one day absolutely for sure.
